BBC international iPad iPlayer app

The BBC's Mark Thompson has today announced that an iPad application will soon be available which will allow international viewing of BBC content. The service will cost under $10 a month. Whilst the programming content will vary from that available on the domestic UK iPlayer, the programmes themelves will not be amended, and archive content will be included. The channel's high flying ratings winners such as Doctor Who will likely be made available - will the BBC's version of Who Do You Think You Are be another?
