From the National Archives of Scotland:

Our out-store at Thomas Thomson House will be closed between Christmas and New Year. Accordingly, no records stored there will be produced in the searchrooms on 29, 30 or 31 December 2009, or on 5 January 2010. Advance orders for Wednesday 6 January 2010 may be emailed to enquiries@nas.gov.uk with 48 hours’ notice, or telephoned to 0131 535 1413 (West Search Room) or 0131 535 1334 (Historical Search Room) – please allow at least 24 hours’ notice. If you are unsure where the records in which you are interested are held, please contact staff on the above numbers. We apologise for the late notice of this closure, and for any inconvenience caused.

Please note that our search rooms will be closed on the following days:

Christmas Holidays: Friday 25 December 2009 - Monday 28 December 2009
New Year Holidays: Friday 1 January 2010 - Monday 4 January 2010
